The clinic is open to researchers applying for the RfPPB scheme and will take place on:

28 April 2020 – 2pm – 4pm

It offers a chance to discuss your application with PÂR, a group of service users and carers affected by mental health conditions actively involved in mental health research.

Researchers are invited to present research ideas or draft research proposals to the group in order to receive a service user and/or carer perspective on their research plans.

How the clinics work:

  • Ideally, the group receive information at least a week before the meeting. It can be as brief as a few paragraphs or as detailed as a case for support. There is also a Researcher Request Form available to complete.
  • Please be specific about any particular issues you want advice about.
  • It will be chaired either by one of the lay PÂR leads or the academic lead, but will not be minuted. It will be up to the researchers or research team to take away from the meetings the things that they find useful.
  • The session will be informal and supportive.

Please contact par@cardiff.ac.uk to register for the session.
